The Bay Cycle Way

The Bay Cycle Way, National Cycle Route 700, is an 80 mile route from Walney Island to Glasson Dock. It runs around Morecambe Bay, through fascinating scenery, wildlife and history. It's mainly on quiet roads, but with some tracks and paths, and much of it is pretty flat (though there is one big hill). So it makes an ideal introduction to cycle touring, and to exploring this fascinating corner of north west England. But it's great for more experienced cyclists too. And there are loads of cracking bakeries along the route!

"...does justice to the award-winning cycle way...a clear and consistent layout...a wealth of information...All in all this is an admirably clear guide, and should encourage more cyclists to come and enjoy what Morecambe Bay has to offer." Kendal/ Windermere Now June/July 2018

" I just thought I would let you know that I have just done the Morecambe Bay Cycle Ride this week with my 14 year old daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic ride and your book was brilliant.  It sat on my handlebars all the way. We took three days, staying in Spark Bridge and Arnside...there is so much to see that we could have stretched it out to longer. What is our next challenge?" Email received August 2018
